ID THis Cam?
20 Jun 2008 07:21
Got a mystery Kawasaki 900/1000 intake cam last weekend. Marked K259 USA D1 and also the usual casting marks CWC R & I5 C1. Stock 1.10 base circle. Anybody recognize this one?

Sounds like the same cams I sold to Jim(inline 4)and he hasn't been able to find any info on his either. They came out of a bike that was given to me,and I knew nothing about it.
If I'm not mistaken, the lift is somewhere just under 400.Maybe a 385 lift?
Please let us know if you DO get any specs on them.

A lot of engine builders in the 70's used to put their own numbers on Web Cams maybe with slightly changed timing. My 1105 motor has an SB-2 marked cam which was from Superbike Mike in S Fla, basically a 395 lift 260/260 cam not much different from Web Cams. I had to almost beg them to get the specs for it
