Will a 1981 Kawasaki KLX 200 atv Engine & Trans work with my 78 KZ 200 cycle?

Unless there's an expert around I think the only way to tell for sure would be to go to
www.kawasaki.com
and select owner info, then parts diagrams and drill down until find something you recognise which might be common to both. Then select that part number and click the little yellow question mark. It should bring up all the models which share that part.

Not a bad idea... start with the engine cases as they are likely bolted into the frame. If the holes in the cases for mounting are in the same place, you might have the same engine essentially; if not, you have some fabrication issues. I have never heard of a KLX200 and am guessing it is a dirt bike. Is it 2-stroke or 4?
