Z1B oil pan gasker. reuse or not? was created by luc
i just pulled the pan to clean it. the gasket look to be in perfect shape and stayed and the case.
Can i reuse it without having to worry about leaks or do i need to scrap the old one and put a new one on?
Thanks

When I pull a motor cover that has been on for a long time, I replace the gasket. That old gasket will be oil-soaked and form a less perfect seal when reused.

I wouldn't use it. You can make a cheap one using gasket material from Pep Boys. Use the pan as the outline and cut it with an X-acto knife.
