New Clutch Cable (Can't Shift Gears Now) was created by SPARTAN
I installed a new clutch cable after the old one snapped while I was in traffic (awesome!...not)
Now I just installed the new one and adjusted everything to be real tight.
The gears won't shift now and when I magically get into 1st gear my back wheel turns for a slight second and I'm able to pull the clutch out completely and the bike doesn't stall.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Tony

Don't know what kind of bike we're talking about? Everything should not be adjusted "real tight". If everything was working ok before the cable snapped, either you installed the wrong cable or it's not adjusted right. Check your owners, clymers or factory service manual for proper adjustments.

I know it would not be any fun if it was easy, but does it have to be this much fun?

If be "real tight" you mean you ran the little nut to the top of the threads, I think you got it back-asswards. Try spinning the little nut until it bottoms out against the linkage or you run out of threads. Then see what you got.
