splitting case

I am having trouble splitting the case of my 82 KZ1100 Spectre I have all the bolts off but the one for the oil filter is stuck can that be the resin that it will not split..

I just had my case apart. There are 5 bolts that go through from the top side of the engine near where the starter mounts. There are also some main cap bolts underneath the smaller cover that have to be removed I believe there are 4. Make sure you remove the small lower cover first. Plus all of the external covers IE the clutch cover, alt cover, chain cover and inner cover where the shift "linkage" is hidden. Also it doesnt matter if the oil filter is on there but its gonna make a mess when you finally get it apart. I used a dead blow hammer to get the glue broken loose and then pryed it from the other half of the case.
