I got a 1980 kz650 ltd. Has anyone gotten real into it to the point where theve put in a sportbike motor that is a 1000cc or 1200cc or anything like that? If so what years are compatable?

Compatible?? You mean bolts in fairly easily?
750 kawasaki bolts in easy, anything else can be made to work, it's not easy though.

I think there are a couple of guys on here that have put a 1000 motor in a 650 frame. Looks really tight but it can be done.
