I got the red bike up and running. I had a hell of a problem installing the pistons, with new rings, in the cylinders. Once I realized the oil ring expansion spring was too long and not allowing the oil rings to contract enough to fit in the bore, things went fine. I had to trim the spring enough so the rings would go into the bore. Of course, everything was coated with oil so when it fired up, right away I might add, I killed every mosquito within a block of my house. It still smokes a little but should quit once the engine gets a bit of running to seat the new rings. Sounds good though. I still have a few minor issues to complete, no horn when pressing the button, and replacing the rear tire, I am going to take the wheel off the number one bike which is down for a ring job and two valve replacements. I have a spare left control module for the horn problem. Anyway, things are looking up. Those rings had me talking to myself. I thought I was losing my wrenching touch. What really helped is I bought a new pair of glasses that were cut to just my bifocal power only. Really made a difference seeing things without kinking my neck to see things out of my bifocals......geeezzz, getting old is the pits.....chris3
