anything is possible with enough money or work or both.but what about a port and polish job and some hotter cams and a better flowing exhaust, bigger carb more compression.you know the hotrod stuff:ohmy: .
Dude KL250 super sherpa is very hard to find in my local area. Its much more quite easy project to replace the AR125 engine and swap the whole engine with EX250 ninja completely.
The point is I want to know for sure does the KL250 super sherpa has the same architecture with KZ250 engine block, does it possible to do it without major modification? I want to explore the possibility to do it. If its only minor modification, then I guest its worth it.
You see, my KZ250 is not the real KZ250, It was KZ200, I had my mechanic up grading it into KZ250. I assume its only minor modification. Its plug n play job, since the KZ200 and KZ250 has the same engine case. All I have to do is buying the KZ250 ring piston + Piston + crankshaft + Keihin CV36 carb + 5Th output gear. I got the mechanic overhouled the engine, Find n replace damaged roller bearing + New bore installed. There you go. KZ200 is gone, KZ250 is born. I will post complete report on this.

Are you sure you want to spend all that time and money on such a limited engine?(as far as mods and performance).

I just want to know the possibility to modify the existing kz250 )

If you do go this route I bet you are the first, so we may be asking you for help and not the other way around.
Good luck and let us know how it works out.

It seems you did a great job the first time around. You picked up a 25% displacement and maybe that in horsepower increase already!

I have done the kz200 to kz250 modification. Giving my old kz200 a new look and bringing its performance to the next level. I love to see my kz250 has DOHC valve train. I hate SOHC valve train. Financially speaking the project its not worth it even its plug n play project. But I still love to see that old bike still able run faster than before and has a new look.
I will look all possibility to do the job.

I would say that the entire bottom end is also different . If you could get an entire SuperSherpa motor and electrics you could probably get that motor into your frame . It would be easier to make new motor mounts than to make a cylinder head fit (and work properly). Check with Powroll about parts for your existing motor .
You are the one with constructive advice . How would you know that the entire bottom end of cylinder is different? Do you have part diagram of super sherpa? Some how I just dont interested in engine swap, because the goal wiil be going everywhere. Too many options, but if engine swap in on the wish list, I wont choose super sherpa engine of course, EX250 would be better. But thanks for the attention.

I prefer turbo engine on my N/A galant V6 not on my bike. Riding The bike is only for work through morning traffic jam. Hopefully, my galant will be turbocharged next year with fully turbocharged version engine swap.
But thanks for the tip.
