WHAT CARBS ARE BEST ??????

I know another carb question but what carbs would run best with more power on my kz650 with the 810 big bore kit? 26mm or cv carbs ? Would cv carbs be better? Any info you guys have will help me alot. :S

try a set of the older Z1 style 28s if you can find them or a set of 29s.B)

28mm or 29 smoothbores best bet.

I put 29's on my Z1 with a kerker then on my 650 also with a Kerker and WOW! There not cheap, but I feel like it was worth the money. I'm not familiar with the CV carbs, so I can't really comment on them.

if your motor has enough in it to burn all the fuel i would go with the cv's. i run cv's on my 77kz1000 that came off of a 81 j model. they were a lot better than tthe junk that was on there. they realy made my bike come alive.

Mikuni BS34 constant velocity carbs. I love mine!
1980 KZ750-H1 (slightly altered)
1987 KZ1000-P6 "Ponch"
1979 GS1000 "Dadzuki"
