Did it on mine also, not even a place on the frame to put on one from another bike.

Hi,
I have a 2001 Kawasaki ZRX 1200 R and there is no centerstand on the ZRX as well....
I also have to check the window for oil level.
I found a trick if you are alone.
I use a telescopic mechanics mirror. So, I straddle the bike making sure it's level then I use the mirror on the "stick" to view the oil level.
It's a pretty cheap way to get it done.
I always felt like the bike was going to fall over and crush me when I tried to hold it upright and then bend down to check the oil level window.
Plus the retracted mirror fits right in my tool space under the seat.
