Anyone know if this clutch kit will fit a Shaft drive 1000 ?

i thought the shaft drive had a heavier basket,not sure if clutch plates are same:( i just took a look at z1 enterprises site.looks like the 79-80 E series is same clutch,but chaindrive 900-1000 of kz series is differant:(

I believe the clutch is different for a shaft drive than a chain drive. Plates do not interchange on the ones I have seen. I have a 1980 shaft and the plates are different. Clutch springs take six on the shaft and only 5 on the chain drive so the inner hub is different and if the plates are different, the basket has to be different also.
