On my police bike, the shifter shaft is dripping a little bit of oil, are these seals very easy to replace?

It is if it's anything like my 750 Shaft drive. It's not too expensive at the dealer.

On my bike I just had to remove the outer case cover, remove the seal and slide the new one on the shift shaft and into the case. My package said to wrap a little masking tape over the shaft splines to keep them from tearing the seal as you slide it on.
