Not sure which bike your talking about (650,1000) but 650's had the cable routed down frame tube between #1 and #2 cylinder with frame clips. My Kerker posed no problem at all, same routing. (remember to click to enlarge)

Is this on your 650 or 1000?

On my 650 the clutch cable still runs down the left frame tube like it did from the factory. I have a Kerker 4>1.
Just strap the cable to stay tight to the frame tube.

You can just see it in this pic between pipes 1 & 2.

hehe, the 1000 were talking. sorry.

There is very little clearance between the frame and header of the VH system. Im thinking it might melt the cable housing. There are two horizontal tubes connecting the frame loops that really stops me from running it up the inside of the frame. bugger.

The cable should always be inboard of the frame tubes. It may not inprove matters, but running outside is not the way it was ever routed.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
