engine noise was created by deathcoleman
i ran my kz 650 low on oil and now when i throttle up it makes a bad rapping sound, any ideas on what it could be

Nothing good, that's for sure
Could be rod or main bearings, wrist pins, or piston slap, but piston slap usually changes with engine temp.
Running it with insufficient oil damages all the above, plus cam and cam bearings, transmission gears and bearings, etc. Pretty much just trashes the motor.

if you havent allready,, drain the oil and pull the filter apart,, look for metal if you see the stuff in there it is a sure sign you got trouble on the way

i only ran it for like 2 miles i was on my way home. i am pretty sure the motor is shot. does anyone know where i can buy a new or rebuilt motor,and for how much
