Anyone know if there is a difference in volume between the standard "J" head and the 83-84 head. I do know that the shape of the chambers are different but Kawasaki, in their mannuals only shows the volume for the "J" head. In the 83-84 supliment they do not show the volume inspection. They say to reffere to the main mannual. this leads me to belive that despite the chamber shape difference, the volumes are the same. Am I correct in presumeing this?

i was under the understanding that the gpz was larger . this is due to reports that when u put a j head on a kz u loose 2 compresion points. if u do the same with a gpz u loose 2.4. dont know if this is actual fact or not.
