i have a quesion i have a 1983 KZ1100 A3 shaft.....i need a whole exhaust system i found 1 that is off a 1982 Kawasaki KZ 1100 will this system work on my bike.. it is a stock system ... is it the same 1 that was used on my bike ?
Instructions for riding a KZ1100 1) sit on bike, 2) start bike and idle till warm, 3) pull in clutch, put in gear, 4) release clutch and rip on the throttle, 5)VERY IMPORTANT!!HOLD THE F*** ON!!!, 6) Enjoy!! Side effects may include whiplash, wrinkle free skin and an evil smile resembling the"Joker"

In a nutshell, yes BUT only if it is an A2 model. From an exhaust system viewpoint A1 = A2 = A3...see www.kawasaki.com for verification but be aware there are rare errors on the Kawasaki site. Remember, there were other 1100 models produced in 1982 so make sure it is the A2 model.:)

Bolting the system to the engine is not a problem. Having the mounts match the frame may be the problem....chris3
