I have ridden a KZ750, GPz750, and GPz750 Turbo fours, and my daily rider is a 750 twin, and I'd have to say the 750 twin has more bottom torque than any of the 750 fours. On the twin I can go into a corner at 1500 rpm in high gear, then just open the throttle and power on out, no fuss, no muss, but the fours don't like to do that, they buck and complain.
The fours undoubtedly have more top end power though, especially the Turbo, when I'm riding with GPzInfested and we both twist the throttle open at the same time, it's like "Where'd he go?"
Of course he has 130-140 hp vs the mighty 54 hp of the 750 twin
But the twin gets better fuel mileage than the fours, so at $3.50 per gallon, I'll stick with the 750 twin for a daily rider

My 750T came stock with 55 HP, weighed in at maybe 525 LB wet. It never was really fast like a four pot will wind up, but the low end torque is nice (I raraely tach it above about 4k because I don't need to). I geared mine down to 2:1 (16/32T) abd it cruises nice.

I've a 750 Twin.
I havn't logged thousands of miles on it, but I'd have to describe it as a very nice ride. Mine pulls hard down low and doesn't seem to run out of steam at the top.
I've a couple of bikes that need short shifting but the 750 twin isn't one of them.
