18 Apr 2008 10:26
Hope someone cam help.
Im working on a kz1000 (J)
It needs a countershaft seal. Problem is I can't find one. Every one has them
for Z1+KZ But not a J modal.
I rely don't wont to go Kawasaki for one, + pay through the noise for it.

Well, I suspect that if
www.z1enterprises.com
doesn't carry them, then you are stuck with OEM Kawasaki.

Part # 92049-1070. Should be stock at most dealers as is was used on everything from the 450 up to 1100 for several years. About $8
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

And if that's the case, babbittsonline.com has the lowest prices on OEM kawasaki parts. They order them from Kawi and give a pretty good discount. They were about 10% lower than Bike bandit on the OEM stuff I ordered, and about HALF what the dealer quoted.

Schnitz.com has it for $7.11. A little late but for future reference.
