Question what did i do wrong when i use push start the kick start starts cranking down. I am petty sure i reassembled it correctly.

Sounds like it is stuck while engaged. There is a little tab inside there that causes the gear to dis-engage when the kickstarter returns to the fully up-right returned position. And for some reason, it is not separating. You need ot find out why.
Actually, this has happened to me in the past. I can't remember when or why, but somehow I got the bike started and it automatically returned it to position.
But it sounds like you had it apart, and I'd double-check if you re-installed that little separator tab correctly. I think it is held in with two screws? You can see it if you look at the diagram below (hopefully the pic will work) at items 21,22, and 23...

When you use the kick start, you're not holding in the clutch, are you? You need to hold in the clutch when using the electric start, but not when you are using the kicker.

You didn't assemble it correctly. Remove the spring and spacer after removing the outer cover. Crank the kickstart lever all the way clockwise THEN put the spring and spacer on. I do the SAME thing most every time I assembled the spring and spacer...forget to crank the kicker lever forward.
