wire has it.
that's what my new street motor is, basically. it's a 73 bottom end(crank, tranny, cases), with a later model 1015 block, pistons, and head.
it spins RIGHT up. lots of fun.
now, it just needs to warm up some so that i can take it out and really get a feel for it.

hey guys, thanks for all of the help. i have done some research and agree with you all and wireman. that sounds like the ticket for me. 1075 kit. 900 crank (which i have 2 of them) k435 cams. just got to figure out my carbs. don't know if i can afford new ones at this time. might have to get the stock ones to work. if i can. i will go into the carb forum and post question in there.
thanks for all your help. !!!!!!!!!!!

wire's gonna tell ya to go with 29's, and i can't say i disagree.
but, that being said, a good, clean set of 28's might run just as well on that 1075.
it all depends on what kind of money you are willing to put into it.

the old Z1 28s are really good carbs if you can find them, and theres enough beef in them to bore them to 30mm but there heavier than the 29s.thats the biggest thing i like about the 29s. goodluck, happy wrenching!

My notes show that carbs from these carbs should fit. The carb spacing is the same...just be sure they are center pull( throttle cable hooks onto carb in-between center carbs):
GSXR600--1988
GS750 All years
GSXR750--1986-87
Gsxr750--1987-92
GSXR1100-1987-92
GS1000-1500
KZ750--all years
Of course, any carbs off Kz, J, or GPZ models also. I've seen quite a few bikes with later model CV carbs on them. Many use the 34mm and larger carbs. They work fine.
