89 kz1000p, valve cover gasket was created by ran429
I was just noticing a difference in the newer motor, i noticed that the end plugs on the valve cover that i have on all my other kz's arent on the newer kz1000 motor, its actually cleaner looking too. i like it.
I will probably be buying a new valve cover gasket from jeffy at Z1E. i see where mine is possibly leaking a tad bit on the #1 exhaust downtube.

On mine, those rubber half moons are actually "side bumpers" for the camshafts. Maybe the new designs don't need that.
