Good 4 U 2WT. Now put in some 750 cams, p&p the heads, 14 tooth front sprocket and you're gonna have one potent-punching little middleweight that will pull like a locomotive from the lights. Whatcha doin for carbs? I am going with bored 26Mikunis for my 810 Kz 650.

Thank ya sir.

Cams? Already bought those. :)

84/85 GPz 750 Cams. Ebay. $29.95 plus shipping.

Planning on pulling the head tonight or tomorrow to get the port and polish on....

Haven't thought about carbs yet. I'm still like $1200.00 under budget (with all this stuff plus new tires, and extra little bits to rebuild brakes and swingarm and stuff... figured I might as well just get it over with so I don't have to do it all later!) so I can definitely buy something really nice. Kinda liked those Malossis on ebay, but I can't fathom that price.

Who knows. Any other suggestions? :)

Hey 2WT. With those Gpz cams (without the exhaust cam's tach gear) what kinda electronic tach setup you goin' with? How about the valves and springs....you upgrading them also?

I think with the carbs you've got to consider what Wiredgeorge (I'm pretty sure it was our carb guru..) said about parts availability with some carbs. Also you've got to remember that some carbs are easier to fiddle and dial-in with than others. I'm kzr members will be able to also offer some good advice to get you the performance you are looking for.

By the way...what year is the 650 you are massaging?

I'll plan on doing valves and springs while I'm in there. Like I said, might as well, right? :)

The bike is a 79 KZ650.

This is what it looked like when I got it:

Smartass. ;) hahaha

That's the only name I remembered from the auction cause he seemed to really want it, so I had to set my sniper to get it. lol

Thanks for the compliment. I'm hoping to have a TON of pics for everyone on here in the next few weeks when all these parts start to arrive.
