Experiences with TKRJ Piston rings? was created by ZoomVroom
Anyone have any experience with TKRJ piston rings made from Japan? Seems like they make piston ring sets for 750 fours and lots of other kawi's.

They probably are not a ring manufacturer. I believe there are only two in Japan. If they are not using one of those, then their rings probably come from China.
It was interesting that no majopr importers in the USA bring their stuff in.

Funny about that.... I bought some "aftermarket" piston/ring sets for my KZ-750 a while back. They did not have kawi numbers or markings on the boxes. But, when I compared the pistons to the stock ones out of my engine, they not only looked alike, even the location and style of the numbers molded in matched. These came from the same factory molds. I sometimes think japan has one big factory that makes everything over there...They probably are not a ring manufacturer. I believe there are only two in Japan.
