You'll have to decide whether the change is worth it, but I don't think it will work anyway because of the kickstarter.
I haven't tried to put a 750 trans in a 650, but I have installed the 550 six speed trans in GPz750's, and I am fairly certain that if the 550 six speed won't fit, neither will the 750 five speed (including Turbo). The 550 six speed takes the same amount of space as the 750, and fits in exactly the same way.
My $0.02 anyway.
Oh yeah, with stock gearing about the slowest the Turbo will go in first gear is about 15-20 mph, gets real interesting riding anywhere you need to go slow, like in front of WalMart

I was going to do the 550 swap on my turbo until a few measurements scuppered all that.

Sadly the 750 turbo transmission uses different size shafts and bearings to the standard 750 (and 550 for that matter).

I didn't know that, but considering the hp difference it doesn't surprise me.

Kawasaki didn't build them to go slow...

Gear ratio's are:
1st 2.571
2nd 1.777
3rd 1.380
4th 1.125
5th 0.961
6th 0.851
With the lower 1st and 2nd gears I will be able to gear it up with sprockets and keep the same aceleration while bringing my cruise rpm down and top speed up.
