I got some at Kawasaki dealer. 5$ each.
Check the cover, I think that there is on inside and another one outside. So 2 seal would need to be change.
Would appreciate if someone could confirm this. I got my seals but not install yet.
Also, is there a special way to install them?

They did come in handy one Sunday when I was riding in Amish country though. I stopped to get a drink and when I came out I had a huge pool of oil under the bike. I wound up carefully removing a seal from the outer cover and using it to fix the leaking seal from the mission cover. Got me home just fine, and I don't think I ever did replace it.

Boy, that Gringo is going to give MacGyver a run for his money. lol
jcote75 they go in easy. Slide them on the shaft and set it in the case/cover. You may need to wrap a piece of tape around the end of the shifter shaft in case some sharp piece of metal cuts the seal.

I bought that seal at the dealer for my 750 Shaft. Cheap and very easy to fix.

Hey Kent you've got to picture where I was.
It is #1 a Sunday and nothing is open.
#2 I'm in the middle of a place where they travel by horse and buggy.
#3 this is 1981, way before everyone rode with a cell phone. (don't think they were invented yet)
This was a case of get creative or walk a loooong way. The really retarded thing is I still remember the part number for that seal 92049-004 fits darn near every Kawasaki ever made.
