looks like you should have bought the APE cam chain tensioner and ditched your crappy vaccume adjuster.

and it didnt jump timing.. the vavle stuck open.. so it has nothing to do with the timing...
the tenser had nothing to do with what happen.. the head was bone stock(old), shit happens. like sumone already posted this isnt the first post about this happening
