the cylinder will get differant sleeves if i do anything with it anyway.all those metal pieces and filings went someplace whatever the pump didnt push up top to destroy things got run through the bottem side, aluminum is pretty soft but the valve shavings really played hell on anything they touched;)

Don't sell it! If you just put the right shim on that valve, that thing would surely beat 140mph!

Now that is some scarey stuff yo! Does that happen from revving the bike above redline or what? I need answers. I currently start my bike at at least a 85 degrees lean or straight up because the crank bearings and cams or 3 and 4 dont get much oil at lean( ask my 650 why its crank bearings were so thin compared to the rest on 4) That is a precaution to you guys who leave your bike at a lean to warm up. I am being careful with mine. If it has the potential to live on for another 30 years, bring it on.

these guys can fix a crank with bad journals, im told they are the best

marine crankshaft inc.
hey, while youre at it, get it stroked, add the correct baseplate spacer, retime the cams and youre good to go(with new cylinder, head and pistons ect)

this is a pressed together crank, cheaper to buy a good crank than to have it pulled apart install new rod and ress back together.there isnt a lot of places set up to rebuild these style cranks except falicon and APEJAYS buddy the crank guy;)
