BTW, I forwarded this thread to my drag racing neighbor. I hope he gets a kick out of it.

Lorcan,

You've really done it this time!;) Oh...and you left one thing off the list that the bike needs too I'm afraid...ONE CRAZY S.O.B. to sit on the seat and drop the hammer...But something tells me you've probably got that covered....NICE Job.

Thought you'd like to see our new dragbike nearing completion. It would be a bit of a stretch to call it a KZ, but it does have the KZ stud pattern and cam chain, albeit with Yamaha valve gear on top of a 16 valve billet head. Unfortunately nothing else is traceable to Kawasaki in any way

Built by Barry Eastman and Mick Hand, with help from Ag McPhail and others. Puma 1500cc top fuel motor with two turbos in series and charge cooling between each stage. 3 speed Bentec planetary geabox, 16 x EFI injectors with Motec M800 ECU and NLR AMS1000 boost control, 100+psi boost, 1000hp+.

It needs wiring and bodywork but will be out later this year. Enjoy :)
