displacement question

Anyone know what year the 998cc engine is from.
I just bought cylinders and pistons on ebay figuring
it was 1015. All I need are the pistons but they are to small for the fresh bored 1015 block. the pistons that i got with that block are miss matched one has a wider skirt. Any replies would be helpful.

Yes, those are likely from an '81+ KZ1000 'J' Engine.
