motor going togeather gpz 650 have questions??

I have recently purchased all the parts i need for my kz 650 with gpz cams. I have questions now a bunch. I have had the head milled 25 thous. the next size over pistons, ported and polished head with gpz 750 cams, ape cam chain tensior, GPZ carbs with large k&n filters.

now for the questions?
1. What kind of jetting should i try for the gpz carbs
2. Do i degree the cams to 105 intake and exaust
3. When setting the manual cam chain tensor how do i know if the the chain is tight enough or not to tight?
4. Can i hook up a spark battery eliminator to a battery?
