I'm having alot of trouble finding valve seals for my 1977 KZ750 Twin. Do any other models share the same valve seal?
Thanks,
Jon

I just went through this on mine:
NO, they are unique and very hard to find.
I recall I found some OEM style seals at Old Bike Barn, but they were not shown on their site. Call and ask and maybe they can cross them to an aftermarket part. They did fit on my bike.
ALSO: there is somebody on ebay who sells a lot of VITON valve seals for various engines. I contacted him and sent him a fabrication drawing I made of the 750T valve guide and he said they have some seals that work (he sent me four and they do look like the right part). I don't recall the source but he is on ebay selling VITON seals all over the place. The VITON seals are definitely better than the regular rubber ones if you can get them.

To answer your question, no...750 twins have unique valve stem seals...only used in common with other 750T models.
And Kawi stopped making them a long time ago, so stay away from any "NOS" Kawi ones because they will be dinosaurs.

Try Japanese car parts- seals are based on the stem size and many Honda,Toyota etc. will fit Z1's etc. I have used Honda Civic seals in the past.
I still have a dimensioned fabrication drawing of the valve guide showing the diameters if anybody needs one to go seal shopping.

Anybody interested in the VITON seals:
The person I corresponded with who had them is Chris Schumann, and he sells seals on ebay. I think his ebay name is:
smw70ss
Contact him via ebay feedback if you want to inquire about VITON seals.
