One last cam timing question - for now..

Okay, thanks to you people, I've figured out my initial problem. When the crank work was done, my crank changed from a 15t to a 16t, this means that I need to change to a 124 link timing chain and 32t cam sprockets. Will this all fit properly in the engine and run?

The 16t seems fine as the crank rotates freely w/o binding. If I get the other parts from z1e/ebay, strip the engine down again, pull it out of the frame, will it all fit back together?

thanks in advance...

Sam,don't quote me on this BUT... the cam chain from an MK11 engine is what you might be after.(but you probably knew that)
Maybe check on Jeffs site and see what he has listed there, under cam chains and sprockets.

Yes...when you had the 16T center pin installed in your crank, you basically have a MK11 motor....as far as those parts go. Get the 32T cam sprockets and a MK11 cam chain and you will be good to go. Everything bolts in like the stock pieces do. Only difference is that you have bigger and stronger parts.

I would personally get "slotted" cam sprockets and degree them exactly. It will run better that way even with "stock" cams.

Here you go. You can get the sprockets and chain with one phone call.
