Oh, I See!
You're down under. Now if you had been up here with the rest of us you'd be damn scared of dropping it into gear at the temps we're surviving. Hell, last week I drove around town and left it in neutral the whole time.

flht1997's right the fluid drag in the transmission will cause the connection you're talking about. The fact that it's hotter there's why your wheel only spins very slowly.

It depends how much drag you have to whether or not it's normal friction drag. Like the guys mentioned some is normal. The transmission shafts have gears precisely placed separated by thrust washers and C clips ect. If someone's put the wrong thrust washer in the wrong place or some other goofy problem where the gears do not turn smoothly it can cause bind. I bought a 10,000 mile KZ650 engine I was going to swap into my 160,000 mile motorcycle and believe it or not it had a defective gear that was actually wider on the shaft than the space given it to spin, effectively locking it to the shaft to a certain degree where it was supposed to spin freely. Caused so much drag it was near impossible to sit at a light with the engine running while in first gear. Factory defect since the bike was built apparently but prior owner didn't know any better.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

You obviously don't understand our political system.
More obviously, neither do our voting masses.
We are not a democracy.
We are a Democratic Republic.
That means we elect people that tell us what we want or need.
The only people that are happy with the results are the lawmakers of the party that is in the majority at that time.
The masses just bend over, take it and then vote for more 'change' on the next election.

I'm thinking also that since Ozzyzed is down under, his wheel spins backwards when he revs it in neutral...

Ha ha boys, your spot on! We also have roll cages on ours as the roos and wombats just jump out and attack us. We also have solid steel tires coz so if we run over the echidnas we dont get puctures!!
P.s Roo = Kangaroo and Echidna is a spiky thing

Cheers thanks for the laugh, Oz:lol:
