will a z1 or kz rotor and starter clutch fit a mk11 crank?

I don't think so. The Z1, KZ900 and the KZ1000 cranks have a small end (22mm I think) while the MK11 has a larger crank end (25mm I think) although I was told a few KZ1000 cranks have the larger end, but not sure which models had them. My guess would be that if the crank has the rotor rotate INSIDE the alternator coils it is a small end while the big end cranks have the rotor on the outside of the coils (MK11 style).

1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110
