Nitrous experience? help, or advice? was created by jordan
Just built a 1981 kz750 motor. Installed an 810 wiseco big-bore kit, gpz cams, and kz1000 strip/street clutch springs. I really hope to run this bike at the strip a few times this summer. I plan on buying the nitrous express nitrous system for 4-cylinder carbeurated bikes. I plan on using the smallest shot, 40 hp. Do you think my motor build could withstand the nitrous setup. Are there things I can do to make it run nitrous easier. Timing, plugs, anything? Oh, and timing should be easy, hava a dyna 2000 ignition on its way.

id look into their progressive controller ,having your bike swap ends at 60 mph really takes the fun out of it!:P id also make sure you run an aftermarket petcock and a large enough fuel line and some carb tweaking to avoid leaning hr out when the nitrous hits;)

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

pull 2 degrees of timing to play it safe when the nitrous is activated. check your plugs after a run at minimum to see how its running, or get a data logger. innovate makes nice ones
