older 1000 exhaust on my '82 1ooo ltd?

I was wondering if the older exhausts would fit on my '82 1000 ltd. specifically 4 into 1 because i think i am wanting to change to that from my stock exhaust. Thanks

i had a stainless steel supertrap header years ago that was made for a second series gpz 1100 that i was going to use on my chrome framed z bike seems to me it fit fairly easily on z motor,stuck it on my uncles gpz so you shouldnt have too much troubleB) goodluck,happy wrenching!
