Z200: what other exhausts will fit?

iv been ringing wreckers around today trying to find an exhaust for my kawasaki Z200 project and mostly I get: "Z200? wtf?" and even a hangup (lol).

one wrecker had a exhaust for a LTD250 single he said should fit: I was wondering if anyone knew the part numbers/dimensions or had experience with this?

Try contacting a memeber here under the name kz200. He bought a muffler for his a few years back. Can't remember if it was a whole exhaust or just the muffler section.

thanks for the info guys, I sent a email to KZ200 as he hasnt been on the forums for 6months now, not sure if I'l get a reply or not but its worth a try.

unfortunately I dont have a VIN for either a KZ200 or a KZ250 so iv gotta wait for my bike to arive to check parts online hahahah. (iv been googling and cant find a VIN from one either: anyone have info? I wont be picking up the bike for a few days and I might have an exhaust near where im getting the bike from if the parts are the same)

ah cool, I didnt actualy PM him: I sent it to his email through the forum so if he has a junk mail filter that could have caught it too.

just tack a muffler onto the exiting pipe, or run it open header :side:

I'd do that... but the bike doesnt have a header either, I need the whole thing :laugh:

should I just go down to an exhaust shop and have them cut a piece of pipe then weld on a mufler or something?

www.bikebandit.com/kawasaki/oem-parts Try Bike Bandit for parts diagrams , you won't need VIN # . If the whole exhaust isn't the same check the exhaust gasket part# and the attachment hardware #'s . If those match up you may be able to use the 250 part .

I spoke with Ron (kz200).
He used his existing header and bought an exhaust from the Dennis Kirk web site. A Dunstall design I believe.
