Hi I was wondering why the j motor has more power than the other model 1000. What are the differences?

Here's what I know about it. The intake runners are bigger and they use larger valves to flow more air. The cams also are using more lift. The carbs are also larger to use with the other parts, which add more HP. The crank has shorter rods so it should rev faster to get into the rev band faster to use that power. Anyone else?

1980 LTD (changed over the years), 1979 LTD (being rebuilt), 1977 KZ turbo and various KZ's in various states of build. KLX110
