Cafe Project

I am interested in a cafe project with my 78 kz 1000, thinking new tank and rear tail section. I also would like to get rid of lesters and go to spoke rims with my disc brake set up any suggestions on cafe conversions would be great.

Thats a pretty sharp old KZ. I wouldn't chop it up too much. Remove the rear fender, some lower bars and flip the gauges would just about do it

I think (you asked! ) that a set of inverted front forks and some spoked 17" would be super-hot. Several different ways of going about it; and you wouldn't have to sacrifice anything visually that you didn't want to sacirfice.
