If you are in Texas.... I saw this ad. sanantonio.craigslist.org/mcy/489174218.html Also check the classifieds here. There is a 1997 1000 engine.

I have a complete J engine (1982 KZ1000P). The cylinder head is trashed but the rest is OK. Will be glad to sell real cheap. $50 and you come fetch it. Block, cases and complete lower end are OK... only the cylinder head is bad.
