has anyone ever used blue away on their pipes? if so how do you use it and whats the best way to do it,,,,tia

I've used it. It works real great. My pipes on the ST were pretty dang blue when I bought it. After using the blue away you would never know. You'll never bring the chrome back to 100% perfect, like new. I'd rate mine as about 95%. How you use it is just like polish, you rub it on with pressure, then wipe it off with a dry rag. Keep repeating until the blue is gone. This is relatively time consuming. It may take an hour per pipe to do it.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

so all i do is rub in on like car wax then let it dry then buff it off?

Maybe its just me, but i think the blueing on the pipes looks good. lol just me?

I actually like the blueing myslef as well.

I think it gives it that, "Yes, I do ride this bike." look.

Then why did I get my blueing the first 10 minutes I had the pipes on the bike,,,, :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Ya, i love the blueing on my pipes also. My neibhor that has an HD, actually sent his pipes back cause they turned blue.

I recently spent over 4 hours polishing my stock before reassembly. They looked fsantastic. Turned blue before I could even get the idle and mix adjusted. Thinking about trying to match for paint now, it's pretty.
