I've always used Yamabond #4 for case halves. Works everytime for me.

looks like a pretty thorough job you're doing there Johnny. Keep the photos coming. Especially looking forward to the final one of the finished project.

OnkelB +1
If it'll hold up on an H2 engine (which it does very well), it'll withstand anything a KZ can throw at it.
Just a note here, though.....
Threebond has discontinued the 1104 product. The replacement stuff is now labelled as 1194.
This is right from an email I received from a Threebond factory rep. I needed some 1104 for my current project and couldn't find any. So I contacted Threebond through their US website and that's what they told me.
So if your favourite retailer only has 1194, go ahead and buy/use it....according to Threebond.

Threebond makes all the products that have been discussed. They essentially make two types of product... one stays semi-pliable and the other hardens. The one that hardens is the one that should be used for engine cases. Since I can't buy Threebond stuff directly in any of the local auto parts places, I get Hondabond HT which sets up and won't leak. Almost every Honda dealer sells both types of goo but the HT works best for case sealing.
