You might want to take advantage of APE's discount on boring/honing when you buy the pistons from them, IIRC it's around $90 with purchase of a piston kit.

I was close 
$160 for a "Class A" bore and hone using state of the art equipment done by the experts, vs $180 locally using a Bridgeport and a 1/2" drill motor powered cylinder hone, vs $0.00 done on my Gorton vertical mill and a 1/2" drill motor powered Snap-On cylinder hone.
I'll do my own 750 twin cylinders, but the cylinder block for my maximum performance 750/810 four is going to the experts at APE for the work.
LC100 Bore and hone with piston purchase $95.00
LC150 Bore and hone with customer's pistons 160.00

I was luckey enough to get one off e-bay for 399.99 brand new. But thats a deal and a half!! 445.00
