May be the wrong section but does anyone know where to get one of those point covers with the bottom milled for ground clearance has some kind of japanese lettering on them.I have seen them for sale somewhere but cant find them now. Thanks

What kind of bike we talking about? Put your bike and location in your signature. There was one on ebay awhile back but it was for a KZ1000.

IIRC, the points cover you're describing would be a Yoshimura racing points cover.
I know CoreyClough has one on his GPz550, and I believe Mark Wing has one on his KZ650.
I think they're killer looking and would love to have one for my bike, but unfortunately I don't believe they're manufactured anymore.
If you're really diligent in scouring the internet ads (eBay, craigslist, etc.), you may luck out and find a good used one. But expect to pay a princely sum for it, as they're highly sought after.

oooops sorry i have a 79 1000 LTD at the moment.except for being a Kz it is nothing special just a builder/rider. thanks for the info.
