and ideas on what to use?
21 Nov 2007 11:22
i had my cylinders and heads sandblasted then shot peened and i really like the look.
anyone know of a product i can use to seal it to keep that " fresh from the machine shop " look?
i heard of zoopseal but it is a ton of money for something i have not heard and reviews on yet.
my bike does see rain once in awhile so it is a issue for me.

Surely somebody out there has a clear sealant process that shouldn't break the bank. But let's see some pics of the head!

Clear powdercoat. It is very durable but requires care in application so that thread and holes are plugged.

wiredgeorge, i did think of clear powder coating.

there are several types of powder coating, you would need to get one that can take the heat, talk to some people who do it in the area
