Would there be a problem, from a useable stand point to drill 6mm Z1/KZ900 exhaust Collar holes to 8mm KZ1000 holes to use on a KZ1000. Would there be any exhaust leaks. Possible failure from the drilling away of the material. Has anyone done this? Thanks Ed.

1977 KZ1000A1, 1105cc,Mikuni RS34mm FS, K&N Pods,Kerker 4/1,Dyna S Ign,Coils & Plug Wires,Progressive Sup. Front&Rear, Derale Oil Cooler.

Like Smithgpz, I also have drilled out some Z1 collars for my Z1000's:) Works fine.
