clutch cover bolts was created by jordan
I was removing my clutch cover of my 81 kz750 motor to install kz1000 clutch springs when I came across a little problem. To no suprise taking off those darn alan head bolts did not come easy. One very stubborn bolt in particular would not come off. It began to strip after my many attempts to remove it. Finally with a torch, and some assistance, the bolt came loose. To avoid this problem again I was wondering if it is possible to replace these alan head bolts with a normal head so they can be removed with a socket? Does anybody know where bolts like this can be purchased, or should I just buy a new set of the original bolts?

What kind of bolts you get are a personal preferance. I like the polished allen head. But most important is to apply some anti seize to each one, makes a huge differance when removing later!

there are bolt kits aval, look in the links section or just watch e bay, a little anti sieze works well also, the big killer is the corrosion between alum and steel
