Took the oil cap off with the engine running and noticed some blowby. How much is acceptable?

Blowby isn't oil coming out your cap... it is oil coming out through your crank vent... The oil that came out your cap was just oil slung out by the clutch I suspect although I have never thought to run a bike with the cap off to see what would happen.

WG,
I can tell you what happens on a KZ650 - paper towels, and lots of them. You are correct, the clutch throws oil all over the place. I did it once by accident and it's not a mistake I'll make again any time soon. Ed
