Found an add for a pair of 900 engines. The '75 supposedly runs and the "74 needs carb work. He wants $250 for the pair.
Is this a good price for motors (no I haven't eyeballed them yet) I have an extra frame for an "83 750 twin needing a power plant. Can these be practically shoehorned into this frame. Yes I have a very bizzaro project in mind.

Height won't be a problem, but you might have to spread the frame rails apart.

If they are local to you, take a compression tester and a good battery with jumper cables and do a compression check.

If the compression is decent, then it sounds like a fair price.

Buy them!!! If nothing else and I hate to say it... part the engines out.

1974 900 Z1 modified to look like a LTD , some engine mods. But I still have all the original parts.
