Stock Exhaust (79 kz650-b3)

Good afternoon campers,

Looking to replace the 4-2 stock exhaust w/ a reasonable quality unit of like configuration. I lost a web link I had for a reseller of what appeared to be a stock replacement the 4-2 exhaust for the b3. Although if memory serves it was over $400 US.

Also, I've seen a 4-2 w/ same side canisters on a 650 in the gallery here which I also can no longer find. Does anyone have insight into that type of setup. If so that's something I'd consider as an alternative.

The ultimate objective is to stay w/ stock jetting and a classic look.

Thanks in advance to all.

Regards,

Rob

Maybe I'm missing something but if you want that "classic" look why are you replacing your stock exhaust? Is there something wrong with it? MAC has a almost decent 4-2 system.

Bill,

The finish is completely deteriorated at the collectors/crossover section of the original exhaust w/ some leaking.

I didn't pick up on MAC's 4-2 offering for the KZ. I'll look into that thanks. Hopefully it will let me retain the centerstand.

BM,

Thanks for the link.

Does anyone know if rejetting would be required w/ the stock airbox using this system?

TIA,

~R
